After breakfast a morning game drive to this park where Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground, The Big Five and the prolific bird life in this African wilderness park. Lunch is served with a game drive in the afternoon with a stop over at Masai Boma (extra payment) after full day view in Amboseli with our driver guide. RETURN TO BEMM CAMPSITE NAMANGA for a camp fire and dinner

DAY 2:

After breakfast in our restaurant , our guides will take you to a walking safari and adventure to the Oi-Doinyo Orok, or Black Mountain, which is sacred to the Maasai, and after visit the local school as you finaly visit a masai villlage.
Back to our campsite for dinner and find your self a nice kenyan art from our shop ready for depature to you next detination, welcome for more

WE are a one stop campsite with modern facilities, located just 4 kilometres from Namanga Town border of Kenya and Tanzania . WE are situated on the main Nairobi - Arusha highway about 170 kilometers from Nairobi AND 112 kilometers to Arusha

Description

Namanga is a town in Kenya, lying on the border with Tanzania. It is in Kajiado District, Rift Valley Province. It is around 120 kilometers from Arusha, Tanzania. Namanga's economy is heavily dependent on tourism as tourists visiting the nearby Amboseli National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro passes though the town from Nairobi. Nairobi is 175 kilometers from Namanga. Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen from Namanga town more so from the view where BEMM CAMPSITE is located.

Our facility has modern shower and toilets, clean and well maintained, restaurant, campsite, tents we offer various services such as CAMPING SITE, PERMANENT TENTS, FREE PARKING FOR CAMPING TRUCKS,

We offer accommodation in our spacious TENTS in our campsite which can host groups or individual travelers to KENYA or on their way to TANZANIA. we are located on the main road thus enables our guest/clients to reach us from NAIROBI or ARUSHA by public or privates means by easy as there is a big sign post on the road showing you our campsite location, we are the only campsite that has the basic facilities need by the today's traveler.

How To Find Us

From Nairobi, take Mombasa road up to the Athi river junction then take the A104 [tarmac road] to Namanga... Distance Nairobi-Namanga (A104) : 162 km tarmac road, just before NAMANGA you will see sign posts on the road showing you the campsite, we are on the RIGHT side OF THE MAIN ROAD from NAIROBI. and from ARUSHA are on the left side just after Namanga town travel about less than 5 kilometers to our camp.

How to get there :
From Nairobi, take Mombasa road up to the Athi river junction then take the A104 road going South to Namanga town (Tanzanian border). we are just 4 kilometers before the namanga boder post and custom offices

Very near from the BEMM CAMPSITE NAMANGA IS , Amboseli National Park is the third most visited wildlife park in Kenya after Maasai Mara National Reserve and Nakuru National Park. The visit can easily be done in a DAY OF THE WEEK.

Amboseli National Park is one of the best places to see elephants in Kenya with Maasai Mara National Reserve and Samburu National Park. In addition to the elephants, you are sure to see the zebra, gnu, hippopotamus, buffalo, spotted hyena, waterbuck, maasai giraffe, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, impala, lion and cheetah. Note also the rare presence of the gerenuk and the fringed-eared oryx in the arid northern part of the park. Most mammals stay aroung the swamps during the day and move towards the hilly countryside (southern section) before night. The birdlife is also abundant as about 420 species of birds have been recorded in the park ! -

KILIMANJARO BEST SPOT : It is a must to get some pictures of elephants grazing fresh grass from the swamps in front of the mount Kilimanjaro. To do so, you will need to wake up early (not later than 7 am) as the Kilimanjaro is becoming a mass of clouds after 10 am (even if the sky is blue and unclouded). Then, go around the main Ol Tukai and Olokenya swamps as elephants are coming down from the moutain to feed in the swampy areas. Stop your car, drink your hot coffee and photograph to the sound of pulled out grass !
